Often in process applications, different cylinders on the same
compressor are used to compress different gases. This is typically known
as having multiple services.
eRCM MultiServices software supports up to ten (10) distinct services
on a single compressor.
Each service can have its own unique:
- gas to be compressed,
- number of stages of compression,
- cutoffs,
- operating ranges (except speed and ambient temperature),
- pressure drops,
- sidestreams,
- unloading sequence and hardware.
All services share common speed and torque from the driver, and if the
driver is ambient-derated for emissions then they will also share ambient
temperature.
eRCM MultiServices software will load in files created by ACI's eRCM™
software, allow for dynamic and simultaneously modeling of all services,
create and print reports, and (if eRCM Viewer is installed) allow for
viewing of performance curves for each service.
Now, you can quickly see how changes to one service's operating
conditions can lead to compressor issues.
